On behalf of the Organizing Committee, It is a real pleasure to invite you to the 12th European Symposium on Pediatric Cochlear Implants in Toulouse, France, June 18-21, 2015.
The dedicated theme of this ESPCI is focused on Emerging Concepts and Emerging Talents in Cochlear Implants as we wish to promote new ideas concerning this multidisciplinary domain. The design of the Symposium will be limited on keynote lectures, debates, round tables, and advanced courses.
A prominent place will be reserved to four main topics :
- Translational Research
- Health Technology Appraisal
- Long Term Management and Outcomes
- Novel Clinical Challenge
E-posters will be valued by podium presentations for the selected best posters with special prizes.
Special courses on rehabilitation, audiology, surgery, fitting will allow participants to share their experience in those various fields.

Based on Emerging concepts and Emerging talents, the jury, which is composed by two independent reviewers will decide of the acceptance of your presentation according to:
1°) its originality,
2°) the methodology and type of study,
3°) the diversity of practices.
All abstracts must be submitted in English. For French sessions only, you can submit in French.
All abstracts must contain original work that has not been yet published
You can submit your abstract for:
- Keynote lecture (15 minutes) selected by the Scientific Committee
- Emerging concept lecture (12 minutes) selected by the Scientific Committee
- E-poster (will be highlighted by podium presentations for the selected best posters with special prizes)
- Lecture (10 minutes)
- Free-paper (8 minutes)
- Round Table participation
Your abstract must be organized as follows:
1- Title of the presentation
2- Name of the presenting author
3- Goal of the presentation (up to 190 characters)
4- Methodology and type of study (up to 1500 characters)
5- Results and significance (up to 1900 characters)
6- Conclusion (350 words)

All abstracts will be published as submitted in a specific document. Please check spelling and
grammar carefully while submitting.
After the validation of your submission, you will have 72 hours to modify your abstract.
